Lala's Place in Boossa, Galle, truly felt like a home away from home during my recent stay over Christmas. As a wildlife conservationist who has explored many eco-lodges across East Africa, I appreciated the open and friendly atmosphere created by the delightful family running this place, which fostered a sense of community among guests. We often found ourselves enjoying the shared spaces, where the cosy tables and cushions on the terrace provided the perfect setting to unwind with fellow travelers. the grilled offerings, paired with their marvelous sauces, were nothing short of exquisite. The surroundings were nothing less than picturesque, with the vibrant gardens attracting small wildlife that captivated the attention of our group. Plus, the proximity to the stunning Hikkaduwa National Park and beautiful Pitiwella Beach allowed us to enjoy the best of nature while relaxing in this inviting establishment. Lala's Place provided an authentic experience that resonated with my passion for conservation and making meaningful connections with others. I greatly admire their dedication to ensuring every guest feels cherished, and I left with cherished memories and a longing to return.
